PLEASE SHARE THIS INFORMATION TO HELP PETE SAMPRAS GET HIS TENNIS TROPHIES BACK!
We generally dislike reporting bad news, however; just today we have learned that tennis great, Pete Sampras has been robbed! Sampras has been robbed of most of his tennis trophies and some other important memorabilia. The L.A. Times has reported that Sampras still has 13 of his 14 Grand Slam tennis trophies, however; his trophy from the 1994 Australian Open has been stolen from his public storage facility in West Los Angeles. Not only is the Australian Open trophy missing, 64 other winning trophies are missing as well, including 5 ATP World Tour titles, 2 Davis Cup crowns, and 11 ATP Masters titles.
Sampras said “I’m not one to gloat about trophies, or show them off. I’ve never been like that. I just want them for my kids to see. The didn’t see me play, but I’d like them to see these things, losing this stuff is like having the history of my tennis life taken away.”
Whoever entered his storage facility also took a few other valuable items, including a signed program from Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder, a signed piano bench from Sir Elton John, and a signed guitar from Carlos Santana.
We’re spreading the word out for everyone to help out, if you know of anything or anybody who can lead to the capture of the persons involved, please contact the Los Angeles Police Department.
Sampras really wants his tennis stuff back, so why not lend him a hand?
One question remains, why on earth would he put his trophies in a public storage?
