Zensah Elbow Sleeve Impressions
I suffer from Tennis Elbow. It was so bad that I had to take an entire month off from tennis earlier this year just to heal up enough so I could start playing again.
I still haven’t fully recovered from it several months later. I got the opportunity to try out the Zensah Compression Elbow Sleeve.
It is a well made product; the design features incorporated into the product are noteworthy:
1) Very comfortable and durable fabric.
2) Specific alignment patterns graphically shown on the sleeve
3) Quality construction throughout
4) Made in USA
Zensah Elbow Sleeve Playtest
Started a practice session one evening and my elbow started to bother me. Slipped the sleeve on and hit for another hour. My elbow didn’t get any worse the rest of the night.
The very next morning my elbow felt okay. Had to do another hitting session that morning as the weather forecast called for rain later on in the day. Again. I started out without the sleeve on, but after fifteen minutes needed to slip it on. The sleeve does help quite a bit and my elbow didn’t get any worse for the next hour.
Played a match the following day. Decided to put the Zensah sleeve on right from the get go as hopefully a preventative measure. Usually serving puts the most strain on my elbow so this was a strenuous test as I played three full sets. I only had minor elbow soreness afterwards and didn’t feel the need to do any special treatment later that night.
Did seven consecutive days of tennis that week and my elbow is holding up just fine, thanks to the Zensah Elbow Sleeve.
Zensah Elbow Sleeve Suitability
I wore it during my garage cleanup day one weekend, plus used it for doing a lot of yard work. The Zensah sleeve worked well in all of those applications. I can see using it for any working tasks and sports related activities. I bumped my elbow one evening on a doorknob and decide to wear it while I slept. The next morning I was able to get out onto the court and starting hitting some balls with minimal discomfort.
Zensah Elbow Sleeve Conclusion
I was impressed with the comfort level of the Zensah sleeve for the two weeks I used it. Could not find anything to complain about this elbow sleeve.
Does the Zensah sleeve cure tennis elbow? I don’t think so, but it certainly does help to ease the discomfort level and gives solid support to prevent additional pain and soreness.
It definitely allowed me to play more often than without it.
I believe it does what it is advertised to do in terms of support, prevention, and providing relief.
Yes I am keeping it and going to continue using it. It simply works better than any other product I have used to date.
