We just got word that Maria Sharapova, who ended her contract with Prince tennis racquets at the end of 2010, will be signing with Head tennis racquets!
Next week Sharapova will be announcing which frame she will be playing with. She apparently has singed with Head for $2 million a year (length of contract not mentioned). Sharapoava will also have her own line of signature Head rackets as well as a signature junior line.
That’s all the information we have at the moment, however; the minute we figure out what line Sharapova will be hitting with, we will be sure to let you all know!

Very good racquet with a perfect blend of power and control. It is best suited for intermediate players, but improving beginners as well as advanced players will find it is a nice racquet to play with. The only time I found it a bit difficult to control was when I was trying to hit the ball really hard and heavy or at the net when given very little time for volley. Otherwise it performs really well at the net, as well as in other parts of the court. It is light and feels right in the hand. Very good deal for this price.
