Tennis accessories…you probably don’t think of accessories when it comes to tennis. Did you know that , like most things in life, you need some sort of accessory? In tennis there are all types of acaccessories that you’ll need. To start, you’ll probably need some tennis balls, then some shoes, maybe even some socks. It’s probably a good idea for you to get yourself some tennis apparel, maybe a magazine subscription, or even better yet, how about a USTA tennis membership? There are all sorts of tennis accessories you’ll find here and there, but it’s only up to the tennis player for what they really need.
Here’s a rough list of some of the tennis accessories you’ll need:
- A tennis bag
- A water bottle
- A towel
- Tennis apparel
- A hat (for when it’s sunny out)
- Sunscreen
- Tennis balls
- Overgrips
- Extra tennis string – in case you break a string and there’s a tennis stringer nearby
- A back up tennis racquet
- Socks
- A measuring tape – Can’t tell you the countless times I have had the need to measure the net for height (36″ at the center strap and 38″ at the net posts)
- Sunglasses
- A watch
- Vibration Dampeners
- Sweat bands (for your head and or wrists)
- Extra pair of shoe laces
Now, you can’t be told what to take to the court, however; you know what you need. Get what you need and the things you want. Get out, have fun, and hit them hard!
