Since Andy Roddick married the smoking hot supermodel turned actress Brooklyn Decker, his tennis career has been as impressive as we had once known. That’s not to say that Roddick is not still an awesome tennis player, but I’m starting to get the feeling that his bride is overshadowing his career.
Brooklyn Decker is obviously talented in what she does, posing, wearing a bikini, and supporting her once king-of-the-tennis-world, Andy; however, lately Decker has stolen the spotlight as she has been appearing on the silver screen with starring roles in 2010’s Just Go With It. She is either currently filming or has recently completed filming Battleship – yes, the same Battleship that you played as a kid and it looks pretty cool (Brooklyn even has a scene wearing a bikini).
Is Brooklyn more popular now than Andy Roddick is? Perhaps she is, but that may also be because she is a fresh addition to the Roddick legacy, I can honestly say that I’ve been a little bored with Andy’s performances since his 2010 Wimbledon exit; it’s the same thing over and over again – big serve, big forehand, slice backhand, get’s passed, towel off, tug at his “junk”, rinse and repeat. I’m starting to get the feeling that Roddick is on the inevitable path of retirement, I really hate saying that, thought it is pretty obvious that he’s not putting in what he used to. I don’t blame him, it’s been a long and hard-fought career for Andy.
Not to spread rumors or anything, however; Brooklyn is currently filming a new movie with the title What To Expect When You’re Expecting. A film about having kids. How about that? The movie’s description says “A look at the lives of five couples as they prepare to become parents.” Does this mean that Andy Roddick and Brooklyn Decker are pregnant or planning on becoming pregnant soon? One thing is for sure, it will be a good looking kid. Hopefully a tennis player too!
