We’re Giving Away A String Thing Plus A Free Set Of Prince Beast XP String!

February 10, 2011 By G.O.A.T

Are you tired of having to constantly straightening your strings by hand? Do your fingers hurt because of moving your strings? We thought so! Well there is a solution to your problems! The String Thing is this nifty tennis gadget that quickly and easily straightens your tennis strings!

fix for moving tennis stringsThis cool tennis gadget is very simple to use, all you have to do is hold your tennis racquet to your hip (butt cap to your hip and hold the racket head with your non dominant hand), roll the String Thing up and down your main strings and that’s it! It straightens the mains and the crosses at the same time! Can you believe it? We didn’t the first time, we were skeptics to begin with. However; after we got to play with one for a few days, we must report this tennis gadget is incredible! You shouldn’t be without one. The simplicity of this tennis tool is what really made us fall in love with it. The String Thing fits right in the pocket – it’s smaller than a tennis ball – it’s lightweight, and simply, it’s just cool.

We love it so much that we asked the guys at The String Thing USA if we could have one to give away, and they delivered. We have one String Thing to give to one lucky winner. All you have to do is leave a comment to enter. We will announce the winner after the BNP Paribas Open ends on March 20th, 2011 (Click here to get $20 off your tennis tickets instantly). That gives you plenty of time to enter to win this neat tennis gadget.

We’re also throwing in a free set of Prince Beast XP 16G tennis string! This new, green string, offers improved tension maintenance, precision and consistency. Prince has invented the first thermo-poly monofilament co-polyester tennis string that provides excellent access to spin, a crisp response, and good durability.

So, if you want straighter tennis strings and fingers that don’t hurt, then you better enter today!

I would LOVE a String Thing! Here’s why:

I am recovering from a shoulder injury, and am now using super-soft strings (Babolat Xcel 16, Wilson Hollow Core 16) strung at a lifetime low of at 53lbs (my normal is 58, high is 65!). My new string job has a TON of moment and it’s extremely frustrating to fix them!

Soon I can rebuild my shoulder strength and use that Beast XP 16 as well – after playing with these compex synthetic guy and multifilament strings, a durable replacement will be thoroughly appreciated!!

Thank you for the offer and consideration =)

I’m a bit skeptical about this. Not sure if it works at all. If I’ll get a chance – I’ll try it, but not worth 20 dollars to spend. Would listen to a person who can prove me wrong.

That String Thing would work so much faster than using my fingers. And the set of Beast XP is a big plus that I’d like to try out. I’ve mainly used synthetic gut with an occasional cheap poly/syngut hybrid. Great username by the way… perhaps the greatest of all time… hahah
